Works of best-selling American author John Grisham are set to be published online in the form of e-books.

The renowned writer, who has sales of more than 250 million physical books worldwide to his credit, will allow 23 of his best-sellers to be made available electronically.

The 55 year-old's publisher Random House said the e-texts would be sold "wherever e-books are sold", The Telegraph reported.

Sonny Mehta, chairman and editor-in-chief of Knopf Doubleday, a subsidiary of Random House, said in a statement: "John Grisham is one of the greatest storytellers of all time. This is one of our most exciting e-book initiatives to date and is certain to usher in a new generation of Grisham readers and e-book adopters."

The novels to be published in digital format include Grisham's first work A Time To Kill, Ford County, The Firm, The Pelican Brief, The Runaway Jury, many of which were adapted for the big screen. (ANI)
