Soup might have been poisoned by school worker
    Buffalo Breeze
    Wednesday 17th March, 2010

A school kitchen porter in the UK has been arrested over allegations that he poisoned soup which was being served to students and staff.

The man, employed at a prestigious public school in Buckinghamshire, was arrested after staff became suspicious after noticing a strong chemical odour in the food.

The porter was arrested at his home on suspicion of intending to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm.

The man has been released on bail but will appear in court in March, when police will present forensic results from tests on the food.
